2018.02.23 - 10TH FUNNYRAISER A HUGE SUCCESS
Thank you so much for your support. 270 tickets were purchased for the 10th annual CLC FunnyRaiser held Friday, February 23. The event raised a record total of over $16,500 for the Challenger Learning Center at Heartland Community College.
We hope you enjoyed an evening full of laughs! Special thanks to our emcee Joe Strupek and our outstanding line-up of amateur comedians: Justin Boyd, Frank Hoffman, Mark Peterson, Rick Pearce, Jim Sikes and Amanda Wycoff. Congratulations to Judges' Choice winner, Jusin Boyd and to Crowd Favorite winner, Amanda Wycoff!

2017.09.08 - CLC RECEIVES NICOR GAS DONATION
A $5,000 gift from Nicor Gas will endable the CLC to add robotics to its educational program. The robotics will be programmable and transportable, enabling them to be used in outreach programs, according to an announcement from Heartland Community College. “We want to use them to teach coding. We also want to take them out in the community and into the schools,” said Challenger Learning Center flight director Susan Evens. Read more here.
